Thorough, efficient, and professional!

Beacon Eye Center is truly a wonderful professional practice where patients are treated with excellent care. I had all of my questions answered without ever feeling rushed. All staff members were kind and helpful. On a scale of 1-10 my cataract surgery was an 11! Dr Jachens is the best!

Dr. Jachens and his entire staff are warm, open, smart and very helpful. They guided me and my partner through the steps of assessing whether I needed cataract surgery and how to have it safely and very comfortably. I couldn't be more pleased.

I was a bit nervous about having my eyes operated on but I needed cataract surgery. I shouldn't have worried. My outcome has been excellent thanks to Dr. Jachens and I see as well now as I ever did. He was willing to explain every detail as well as laying out all my options. His staff is very caring, gentle and professional.I can highly recommend the Beacon Eye Center..

Dr. Jachens is amazing. He treated my daughter with so much care. She was very happy with him as he explained her issues in a way she can understand. She is doing so much better and we can't thank him enough!

Dr Jachens performed surgery on my eyes in 2021. I had cataract removal, astigmatism removal and intraocular lens implants inserted. The surgery went amazingly well and I finally had 20/20 vision. No halos, no clouds or dullness. Recently, I had an issue with the vision in my left eye and I wanted to consult with him. I found that he isn’t at the eye center at which he worked at the time, so I searched for him and found he had his own practice in Wayne. I had an appointment yesterday and amazingly enough, he fixed my issue in the office on the spot. I thought that I’d have to do an outpatient procedure on another day, I can’t tell you how pleased I am. I couldn’t imagine seeing another eye surgeon. Dr Jachens is brilliant, his bedside manner is terrific, and needless to say, I trust him 100% with my eyesight. I could not recommend him highly enough.
